About the site

A few things about the site, and the odd credit where it's due.

The site is PHP-based, running on Linux, Apache, Mysql, hosted on a server in Chris' garage. The blog is Wordpress, the forums phpBB2.

The new look and feel is based on the liner notes to 'Love & Other Vices', designed by Les Ross. Yes, the one that used to play guitar for us, and wrote the music for Dragonfly, among others. Not just a bearded Scotsman.

The graphic at the top of each page was made with the aid of some free photoshop brushes by Falln-Brushes over at deviantART.

Finally, elements of the CSS layout are from bluerobot.com. The site has been tested in IE (6 & 7), Firefox, Opera, Safari (Mobile and full versions) and Camino. Predictably, IE is the least satisfactory of that lot. Some of the pages validate correctly using the w3c.org validator. But some don't. One day, perhaps, that'll get fixed.
